Alchemy Fashions are designed by Trisha Hinders in Roberts Creek, BC. Trish has been working closely with the same small family businesses in India for over 20 years. Their long-term business relationships are rooted in friendship, trust and respect. Trish is always inspired by her annual journey to India where, besides sourcing fabrics, designing, and supervising production, she delves deeply into India’s cultural and spiritual traditions. Trish is a passionnate student of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Alchemy is sweatshop-free! We pays more than fair and living wages to our pattern masters, cutting masters, production supervisors, tailors and finishers. It takes hard work and dedication to make a quality product like Alchemy, and we respect the exceptional work of our staff in India. We guarantee that all our workers are have regular hours, breaks and holidays, and that they work in well-lit, healthy environments.

FLYING HEART ORGANIC CLOTHING

Trish's new collection Flying Heart is G.O.T.S. (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certified. It is inspected annually (by an independent G.O.T.S. agent) and is certified organic from the farm to the factory. We use only environmentally friendly, water-based, AZO-free dyes and softeners. This G.O.T.S inspection also certifies a high level of fair labour, and safe workplace, standards.
